Why Go

Built from the 12th to the 15th centuries in brick Gothic, the church became the cathedral in 1834 after the French destroyed the old one. Tapestries from Brussels line the choir, and the treasury holds Dieric Bouts's triptych of the martyrdom of St. Hippolytus.
