Getting There
From St. Michael's, a short walk; or up from Kontraktova Ploshcha metro in Podil.

Why Go

At the top stands St. Andrew's Church, a turquoise and gold baroque gem by the Italian architect Rastrelli, built from 1747 to 1754. Halfway down, number 13 was the home of the writer Mikhail Bulgakov and is now a museum of his life.
