Why Go

Laid out in 1789, the park is bigger than New York's Central Park, with streams, meadows and the Monopteros temple on its hill. At its southern edge, surfers ride the Eisbach wave all year round.

Its beer garden around the Chinese Tower seats thousands under the chestnut trees.
