Why Go

Built in the 14th century and rebuilt after bombing in 1943, the church holds tombs of the Angevin kings. Its cloister was covered in the 1740s with yellow and green tiles of vines, lemons and country scenes.

Across the square, the Gesù Nuovo has a façade of diamond-pointed stones and a dazzling baroque interior.
