- The lower station is a 5-minute walk uphill from the Buža Gate, north of the walls.
Why Go
The cable car climbs to about 400 meters in four minutes. At the top, the Imperial Fortress, built by Napoleon's army, held off the attack on the city in 1991, and a museum inside tells the story of the siege.
Sunset is the best time, when the walls and roofs turn gold.
