Why Go
The largest Gothic Revival Catholic cathedral in North America, finished in 1879 and restored to gleaming white marble in the 2010s. Inside are soaring vaults, a rose window above the great organ, and side altars by Tiffany and others. It's a working cathedral, with Mass through the day.
Tips
- Visitors are welcome during Mass, but keep to the side aisles and save photos for later.
