Why Go

Built as a railway station for the 1900 World's Fair, the building now holds French art from 1848 to 1914. Its top floor is a parade of Impressionist masterpieces, from Monet's poppies to Van Gogh's Starry Night over the Rhône.

Look out through the giant clock face for a view across the Seine to the Louvre and Sacré-Cœur.
