Why Go
Opened in 2014, the DomQuartier links the archbishops' palace and the cathedral in one route: the Residenz state rooms, where the young Mozart performed, a terrace over Domplatz, the organ gallery inside the cathedral, and the treasures of the cathedral museum and St. Peter's Abbey.
The Residenzgalerie's European paintings, part of the route, are closed until autumn 2027.
