Why Go

The collection fills a former church, convent and charity hall at the foot of the Accademia bridge. Veronese's huge Feast in the House of Levi, Titian's last painting, his Pietà, and Giorgione's Tempest are among its treasures.

Leonardo's Vitruvian Man belongs to the gallery but is shown only rarely, to protect it.
