Why Go

Cosimo the Elder built the palace in the 1440s, and Lorenzo the Magnificent grew up here. The walls of its little chapel show the Three Kings riding through a Tuscan landscape, with members of the Medici family among the riders.

The rest of the palace has a later gilded gallery and courtyards.
