Why Go

Masaccio's Holy Trinity, painted around 1427, was one of the first paintings to use true perspective. The chapel behind the altar is covered in Ghirlandaio's frescoes of Florentine life, and crucifixes by Giotto and Brunelleschi hang in the church.

Its green and white marble front was designed by Leon Battista Alberti.
